Complete the following sentences with for or to.

We went to a wonderful performance last night at the symphony hall. My friend Jasper gave his tickets (1) _____ us. His boss had bought them (2) _____ him, but Jasper doesn't like Mozart so he handed them (3) _____ us!

I sent an email message (4) _____ my wife at her office about the tickets. I explained the situation (5) _____ her and told her to meet me at our favorite restaurant, Aldo's. Then I went to the bank to get some money. The teller cashed a check (6) _____ me. I asked her if she could open a savings account (7) _____ me. She told me that she would introduce me (8) _____ a bank officer for that.
