The Patriot Game

(come) to the American continent in the 1600s, they _______ (find) life very difficult.                                                                                
They ______ (bring) many skills, but they ________ (meet) many difficulties.  Settlers

in the southern colonies such as Maryland and Virginia ________ more (get)

But the colonists in New England, who ______ (leave) England in protest, _______ (run)

with England right away and
